Imperial Hotel Picton
Built in the 1860s on Argyle Street in Picton, New South Wales, the Imperial Hotel is one of the most famous haunted pubs in Australia's most haunted town. Originally opened as the Terminus Hotel before serving as a hospice for tuberculosis patients in the 1870s, the historic venue is famous for unexplained poltergeist activity, phantom footsteps pacing the corridors, and a disembodied presence that turns on the pub's jukebox even when completely unplugged from power.
