    The Plough Inn is a iconic heritage-listed pub located at the heart of the South Bank Parklands in South Brisbane. Originally established in 1864 and rebuilt in 1885 in a ornate Victorian style, the Plough Inn is famous for having survived the widespread demolition of Stanley Street prior to World Expo 88. Beyond its popular beer garden and rich history, the hotel is notorious across Queensland as one of Brisbane's most haunted pubs, reputedly haunted by the restless ghost of a young girl murdered on the upper floor during the 1920s.
