Aam Khas Bagh
Aam Khas Bagh in Sirhind, Punjab, is a monumental Mughal-era garden and royal highway inn complex situated along the historic Grand Trunk Road. First planned under Emperor Akbar and expanded by Shah Jahan and Jahangir, the complex was divided into public (*Aam*) and royal (*Khas*) enclosures equipped with air-conditioned palaces (*Sard Khana*), hammams, and fountains. Today, local lore speaks of phantom sitar music, dancing anklet sounds, and eerie shadows echoing through its ruined arched pavilions.
