    The Lizzie Borden House in Fall River, Massachusetts, is the notorious site of one of America's most famous true-crime mysteries. On August 4, 1892, wealthy businessman Andrew Borden and his wife Abby were brutally murdered in this Victorian residence with a hatchet. Andrew's daughter, Lizzie Borden, was tried and acquitted of the crimes, leaving the double murder officially unsolved. Today operating as a museum and bed & breakfast, the house is world-famous for intense paranormal activity, including full-body apparitions, disembodied weeping, moving objects, and eerie thermal anomalies.
