Karsaz Road (officially Habib Ibrahim Rahimtoola Road) is a prominent, well-paved arterial thoroughfare in Karachi connecting Shahrah-e-Faisal with the Karsaz Cantonment and Gulshan-e-Iqbal. Flanked by lush greenery, military cantonments, and naval housing complexes, this seemingly modern boulevard is home to Karachi's most famous urban legend: the Bride of Karsaz ('Karsaz Ki Dulhan'). Drivers traveling late at night frequently report encounters with a beautiful young woman dressed in traditional red bridal attire who flags down vehicles, vanishes from passenger seats, or causes mysterious vehicle breakdowns along the unlit stretches of the avenue.
