Hotel Windsor
The Hotel Windsor, situated on Spring Street in Melbourne opposite Parliament House, is Australia's only surviving grand 19th-century city hotel. Opened in 1883 as the Grand Hotel, the luxurious Victorian establishment has hosted royalty, world leaders, politicians, and famous performing artists for over 140 years. Renowned for its opulent dining rooms, afternoon tea tradition, and Victorian architecture, it is equally famous for persistent ghost reports, most notably the phantom spirit of world-renowned Australian opera singer Dame Nellie Melba.
