Khooni Darwaza
Khooni Darwaza, or the 'Bloody Gate', is a standalone 16th-century red sandstone gateway situated on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg in central New Delhi. Built during the Sur dynasty rule of Sher Shah Suri, this massive gate earned its gruesome moniker through centuries of royal executions, decapitations, and brutal massacres. Regarded as one of Delhi's most haunting monuments, it is famous for reported sightings of blood dripping from its stone walls, phantom screams, and the spectral apparitions of executed Mughal princes.
