Passo delle Streghe (Witches' Path)
The Passo delle Streghe, or Witches' Path, is a dramatic stone ridge walk connecting the First Tower (Guaita) and Second Tower (Cesta) along the spine of Mount Titano. Suspended over sheer abysses with sweeping views of the Adriatic Coast, this medieval stone walkway derives its name from ancient folklore alleging that local women gathered here during full moons to perform secret occult rituals and esoteric dances. Today, it remains one of San Marino's most breathtaking yet eerie outdoor pathways, where nighttime travelers describe mysterious whisperings in the wind, shadowy figures darting across the rocks, and unexplainable light anomalies.
