    Picton Haunted Town

    PictonAustralia1821–Present

Picton, located in the Macarthur region southwest of Sydney, is widely recognized as Australia's most haunted town. Established in 1821, the historic settlement is surrounded by reports of supernatural phenomena across its heritage buildings, pub vaults, old maternity hospital, and disused railway structures. Its most infamous paranormal landmark is the 1867 Redbank Range Railway Tunnel (Mushroom Tunnel), where tragic historical deaths have spawned enduring legends of phantom figures, cold winds, and unexplained voice recordings.

    Old Inunaki Tunnel

    MiyawakaJapan1926–1975

Old Inunaki Tunnel ('Old Dog-Barking Tunnel') is an abandoned mountain tunnel located in Miyawaka, Fukuoka Prefecture, Kyushu. Completed in 1949 and replaced by a modern bypass tunnel in 1975, the narrow, unlit stone tunnel fell into severe decay and became linked to a horrific 1988 murder. Shrouded in famous Japanese urban legends regarding 'Inunaki Village'—a mythical lawless community—the sealed tunnel is one of Japan's most notorious dark hotspots.
