    Lubang Buaya Memorial Complex

    Lubang Buaya ('Crocodile Pit') in East Jakarta is the solemn historic site where six Indonesian Army generals and one officer were killed and thrown into an abandoned well during the violent 30 September Movement (G30S) political crisis in 1965. Now preserved as the Monumen Pancasila Sakti national memorial, the well site and surrounding museum grounds are deeply etched in national memory and associated with lingering paranormal phenomena reported by guards and visitors.

    Mall Klender

    Mall Klender (formerly known as Yogya Plaza Klender) in East Jakarta was the site of one of the most horrifying tragedies during the May 1998 riots in Indonesia. During widespread civil unrest, the four-story shopping complex was looted and deliberately set ablaze while hundreds of shoppers and looters were trapped inside, resulting in over 400 deaths. Rebuilt as a modern retail center, the site remains deeply associated with urban ghost stories and lingering tragedy.
