Rana Kumbha Palace
Rana Kumbha Palace inside the grand Chittorgarh Fort complex in Rajasthan is one of India's most infamous haunted locations. The palace is historically linked to the tragic practice of Jauhar (mass self-immolation). In 1303, Rani Padmini and over 700 royal women jumped into underground fire pits to escape capture by Sultan Alauddin Khilji. Visitors and investigators report spectral screams, phantom fire scents, and terrifying paranormal encounters within the dark subterranean chambers.
