Jagatsinghpur Bhuta Kothi (the Haunted House of Taradapada) is one of Odisha's most infamous abandoned houses and viral horror sites. Built in the late 1990s, the unfinished two-story residence became the scene of a gruesome family tragedy on August 18, 1999, when the homeowner suffered a sudden psychotic breakdown. Today, its roofless, brick-exposed ruins stand abandoned along the roadside, shunned by locals who report late-night shrieks, stone-pelting, and phantom apparitions.
