Holkar Bridge
Holkar Bridge is a historic stone bridge spanning the Mula River in the Kirkee (Khadki) Cantonment area of Pune, Maharashtra. Built in the 18th century and named after Maratha general Yashwantrao Holkar, the bridge has accumulated a dark supernatural reputation over decades due to tragic drownings, fatal traffic accidents, and proximity to colonial military cemeteries. Nighttime commuters report seeing spectral figures, mysterious lights, disembodied cries, and experiencing sudden, inexplicable vehicle breakdowns.
